Nuno Espírito Santo, former Tottenham Hotspur’s and Nottingham Forest manager has been sacked by the latter club.

Nuno who has been in charge of the club for 21 months and three games into the season has been sacked and replaced by trophy winner and former Tottenham Hotspur’s manager Ange Postecoglou.

Postecoglou has been out of job for the past three months after being fired by Tottenham.

Forest who sit 10th on the EPL log after three games seem to be losing face and their owner saw the need to shake things up.

Evangelos Marinakis after appointing the Australian gaffer said,

“We are bringing a coach to the club who has a proven and consistent record of winning trophies.

His experience of coaching teams at the highest level, along with his desire to build something special with us at Forest, makes him a fantastic person to help us on our journey and achieve consistently all our ambitions.”

In as much as Postecoglou won a trophy for Spurs, his two season wait period has always been a factor for him.

Will Marinakis be graceful enough to allow him the room to operate within that second season where Postecoglou has said always wins a trophy?
