The Pobiman Sports Complex welcomed a distinguished delegation from Rexona, a leading Unilever brand, as they expressed their commitment to building a strategic partnership with Ghana’s premier football institution, Accra Hearts of Oak.

During the visit, Rexona presented a range of its body deodorants to the club and announced Unilever International’s pledge to finance Hearts of Oak’s participation in any CAF competition, should the team qualify.

The delegation engaged warmly with players, technical staff, and management. They were received by Executive Supervisory Director, Mr. Akwasi Agyeman and Operations Manager, Madam Phyllis Marku Mensah, who both highlighted the club’s enthusiasm for a sustainable and mutually beneficial partnership.

Unilever International Business Manager, Mr. Onyx Adjei, who led the team, commended Hearts of Oak for their hospitality and challenged the squad to aim for league victory. He assured that if the club secures the league title this season, Rexona will sponsor their continental campaign. This commitment was met with optimism by Head Coach Didi Dramani and Club Captain Benjamin Asare, who pledged the team’s dedication to achieving success.

Head of Marketing for Daddy Ash who are authorised agents of Rexona, Mr. Robert Amamoo – encouraged the players to continue striving for excellence and to inspire pride among their supporters through consistent performance.

Rexona’s involvement with Hearts of Oak reflects its expanding footprint in global football. Having recently sponsored the Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, Rexona is also among the official sponsors of the upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, underscoring its commitment to supporting football teams and competitions worldwide.
