The Ga Youth Forum Dinner and Awards night sort to award individuals and institutions who have been exceptional in their fields and this saw many names on the list including Ghaaian Billionaire and philanthropist Richard Nii Armah Quaye and the CEO of Legacy Rise Sport and Promotions.

With many promoters being considered including Ace Boxing Promotions, Bishop Boxing Promotions, Nana Boxing Promotions and others, it was up to a committee to decide who did it best and deserves the accolade.

Mr. Mubarak Yusif Nanor who remains one of the best Boxing Matchmakers in Ghana was in attendance where after time he mounted the podium. Legacy Rise and Sports Promotion has become a household name in the boxing industry since its introduction and the kind of fights they always put on their bill.

Hosting one of the electrifying events in the history of Ghana boxing and drawing many dignitaries including the President of the Republic of Ghana and former Ghana Black Stars players.The first promotion to bring former world heavyweight champion Anthony Joshua to Ghana with a promise of putting them on a bill.

With many eyes rolling and wondering who it was going to be, it still seemed obvious with how Legacy Rise Global changed the game.

After the long wait, Legacy Rise Sports Promotion was adjudged the best Boxing Promotions under the year of review. The CEO whose busy schedule took him off the awards night was represented by Mr. Nanor who picked up the ward.

He said, “I know if Mr. Mahama was here he would surely say these same words. At least his work is being noticed and appreciated by the lots. I want to say thank you to the organisers and everyone on behalf of Mr. Sharaf Mahama and Legacy Rise. I will surely communicate with him and tell him the good things you said about him.”
