The current British High Commissioner to Ghana, HE. Christian Rogg who succeeded Harriet Thompson in July 2025 has extended an official invitation to one of the best boxing matchmakers in Ghana Mr. Mubarak Yusif Nanor as the Commission sets to celebrate the ‘Creatives Takeover, London to Accra Diaspora New Year Mixer’.

Mr. Mubarak Yusif Nanor has been one of the best boxing matchmaker and strives to give the audience nothing but the best going all out to ensure he maintains a perfect image of what many understand of boxing.

The invitation him means his efforts and sacrifices being noticed and promised to bring more to boxing as he continues the trade.

“I have been disappointed by the Boxing Ghana Awards after losing the ‘Best Boxing Matchmaker award’ under the year of review but at least I know what I have done and real boxing lovers and supporters believe same.

Sometimes, others have to justify your craft and that is the calls I have been getting lately only to be surprised by this honoured invitation from the British High Commissioner. I will keep working and keep bringing the best to the fans because it is something I love.”
