The FIFA World Cup sure is one of the most sorted after footballing competition many chase after but the recent pronouncements made many wonder why they needed to pay exuberant prices for a competition and weather it was worth the pricing.

May started to make comparisons to the 2022 World Cup in Qatar and the significant increase in price urging them to call out FIFA who has given a listening ear.

The Supporter Entry Tier is a ticket system that FIFA has introduced in their bid to bridge the hiked gap in ticket prices. Following criticism over high prices, FIFA introduced a limited “Supporter Entry Tier” priced at a fixed $60 per ticket for all 104 matches, including the final.

These tickets are specifically for loyal fans of qualified national teams and are allocated through each country’s football association (PMA). This tier makes up a very small percentage of total tickets (about 1.6% or just over 1,000 tickets per match).

You can apply for general tickets or find information on the PMA process on the official FIFA website until January 13, 2026.
