Another disappointing finish for Internationale Milan as they lost it late against Atletico Madrid at the Civitas Metropolitano in their UCL meeting.
The game started and quickly shifted into the Atletico Madrid half with Inter Milan securing a free kick at a very dangerous position.
Dimarco’s freekick needed dealing with by Juan Musso to keep Atletico Madrid at bay. He Inter left-back has series of chances in the opening six minutes but all his efforts went wide.

Diego Simeone and his team held on to their lead until the half and gave it away with 9’ into the second half. Zielinski in the 54’ slides the equaliser in for Inter Milan after Bonny’s quick witted pass.
It was heated and electrified at the same time with chances flying in from both teams. The runners up trying to make a statement away from home while Atletico Madrid wanted to protect their home advantage.
With just seconds on the clock to end proceedings, Jośe Maria Giménez stole it for Atletico Madrid after connecting to a cross from Antoine Griezmann in the 90+3’ for a 2-1 scoreline.
Lexetier after play resumed from the late goal ended proceedings as Atletico Madrid snatched it late.
