Arsenal Fc have proven beyond doubt that they are ready for whatever football throws at them this season after beating some of the favourites in both the EPL and UCL.

The Gunners hosted Bayern Munich at the Emirates Stadium and did the unthinkable. Bayern Munich came into the fixture with an unbeaten record in all competitions just as Arsenal making the game a battle for supremacy.

Vincent Kompany in the German Bundesliga has made a man for himself already just like Arteta is going in the English Premier League but one proved to be superior after the end of proceedings.

The game started both Bayern Munich taking charge of possession in the early minutes until Arsenal Fc switched from defence to attack mode. With an experienced shot stopper in post for Bayern Munich, many would not expect his amateur errors.

Jurrien Timber from a Bukayo Saka cross got to the ball faster than Manuel Neuer who looked out of place in the 22’ for an Arsenal Fc opener.

The game got a bit interesting as 17-years-old Lennart Karl equalised for Bayern Munich in the 32’ after a ball was run through by Serge Gnabry. This was what many observers were expecting, a back to back kind of action until the second half.

Former Chelsea winger Nono Madueke who came on for Leandro Trossard in the 38’ finally made a worthwhile contribution to the game after clinically sending home a cross from Italian teammate Riccardo Calafiori in the 69’.

At this point, pressure was supposed to be on Arsenal Fc as Bayern Munich are the kind that would press for an equaliser. Harry Kane who was supposed to be the target man was marked to render him useless in front of goal as Bayern Munich continued to chase for an equaliser.

Michael Olise tried to go solo at Arsenal but he was dispossessed and the attack changed to a swift counterattack with Gabriel Martinelli leading the line.

Manuel Neuer who had already committed himself and failed to clear the ball saw Martinelli sprint past him in the 77’ before slotting the ball into an open net for Arsenal’s third goal.

With the pace at which Arsenal is playing, many supporters and opposition fans believe this should be a good season for the Gunners in both the domestic and international front.
