Chelsea Fc has silenced many critics who believed their Club World Cup title victory was just a fluke after beating European champions Paris Saint-Germain by 3-0 in the final to clinch the trophy.

Lamine Yamal’s rant has come back to haunt him for the third time. His initial trash talk was ahead of their game against Paris Saint-Germain, then the El Classico and now against Chelsea.

Fc Barcelona remain one of the formidable teams in the world of football without doubt but Yamal seems to be talking more than he should.

Before heading into the UCL tie against Chelsea Fc, Fc Barcelona took on Athletic Club in the Spanish LaLiga after which a reporter tried to find out his preparations towards the Chelsea game. Yamal who was over confident answered, “the big game was today, we just gave a game next week”. What should have been just another game turned out to be their retribution.

Enzo Maresca who has been under subtle scrutiny over his defeat to Sunderland and other teams went all out to show Fc Barca they are not an unbeatable team.

With a fully paraded Fc Barca squad, it was normal to believe Chelsea Fc would suffer a defeat but their tactical decisions on the night proved otherwise.

Hansi Flick went to England with his high-line tactics which got neutralised but their tactical decisions electrifying pace of Granacho and Estêvão who were playing on the wings. Fc Barca could not count on their star boy Yamal as he was equally matched with national teammate Marc Cucurella.

Chelsea Fc were on fire from the onset having two goals filled off in the first 10’. Their opener in the 3’ was ruled out following a Wesley Fofana handball leading to the goal, the second was Enzo Fernandez’s goal which was ruled offside before Marc Cucurella’s cross in the 27’ got tapped in by Kounde for a Chelsea opener.

Estêvão Willian has proven to be far superior and productive in big matches for Chelsea Fc and he proved it yet again against Fc Barcelona stealing the headlines with not just his solo goal but a stunning performance which outshined Lamine Yamal.

Ronald Araujo who was booked in the 32’ flew in with a dangerous tackle on Cucurella in the 44’ where he was sent off leaving Fc Barca to play the remaining half with a man down. The hosts were already dominating Fc Barca at the Bridge before going a man down and they sure made use of it.

Estêvão in the 55’ gave the fans a feel of what is yet to come with a stunner after going past two Barce defender with a quick feet dribble. His shot aimed at the top of the post had Joan Garcia flying as he increased Chelsea’s tally to 2-0.

Irrespective of the man advantage, Chelsea Fc were still a better side on the night. Manchester United had a man advantage for 77’ and still lost to Everton which proves it’s about the tactical discipline.

Liam Delap whose return from injury saw his sent off with a straight red card paid his dues after being subbed on for Granacho in the 59’
The big attacker in the 75’ gave Chelsea Fc a 3-0 lead to an Enzo Fernandez pass completely shutting any hopes of return for the Catalans.

The dejected talking star Yamal got subbed in the 80’ for Dani Olmo as his side lost by 3-0.
