Sean Dyche is in for a wonderful treat after handing Liverpool Fc a convincing defeat after return of club action at Anfield.

Liverpool Fc continue their average performance after managing two win and two draws before heading into the international break. Nottingham Forest having sacked their coach for non-performance are cruising towards stability with a couple of wins.

Liverpool Hosted Nottingham Forest at the Anfield Stadium and many would quickly call it for the Reds as Anfield remains a fortress to them but Forest had a mission going there and executed it to perfection.

Murillo started the joyous journey for Sean Dyche in the 33’ with a superb strike which staggered the Liverpool bench. Looking up to his expensive front line to give a swift response, Arne Slot only managed to go into the half with a lone goal deficit.

Nottingham Forest were poised to keep their positivity as they returned from the half with a quick goal. Nicolo Savona in the 46’ made it two for Nottingham Forest with Liverpool looking all scattered in defence.

From the 55’ to 78’, Arne Slot threw in four substitutes in high hopes of reducing the deficit only to concede the third goal in the 78’ after taking off Curtis Jones for Rio Ngumoha. This time it was Morgan Gibbs-White on the scoresheet.

At this point, the defending champions needed more than a miracle as their 75% possession was yielding no positive results. Nottingham Forest although keeping as little as 25% possession managed seven (7) shots on target with what could have been their fourth goal disallowed.

Liverpool Fc have moved from impressive over a season to one of the worst teams in the EPL as they sit 11th on the table with 18 points after 12 games.
