The UEFA Champions League is getting in shape with Arsenal Fc remaining one of the teams to keep a perfect record after their first four (4) games.
Mikel Arteta and Arsenal are cooking something very delicious for their fans as they remain unbeaten in all competitions including the EFL, EPL and the Champions League.
Arsenal become coming into the UEFA Champions League fixture beat Burnley by 2-0 to keep their unbeaten streak alive and replicated same in the Champions league against Slavia Prague.
The Gunners went into the UFL fixture with the same winning mentality and made sure to play according to their plan which paid off after the game.
Slavia Prague hosted Arsenal at the Fortuna Arena but had little to do with home support. With both teams throwing shots at each other, Arsenal only found the opener after a VAR check awarded them a spot kick at the half-hour.
Saka who was the skipper for the night took responsibility and in the 32’ slotted it home to give Arsenal the lead. With Arsenal getting in front, it was now time for the real show and they surely proved themselves.
Leandro Trossard had the ball again at the left flanks and sent in a mid-level cross which found Mikel Merino in between two Slavia Prague defenders unmarked, he happily said thank you with a brilliantly executed strike to make it 0-2 for Arsenal just a minute after the break.
Mikel Merino who has been having a good time added his second in the 68’ after Declan Rice sent in an inviting cross which saw Jakub Markovic committing himself only for Merino to get to the ball first with a header to make it 0-3 for Arsenal.
Arsenal are now tie on point with Fc Bayern Munich winning their first four games in the UCL.
