The attention has quickly shifted from Ange Postecoglou to former Nottingham Forest manager Nuno Espírito Santo who has been struggling with his new side West Ham United.

Postecoglou after going winless in ten (10) games as head coach of Nottingham Forest got sacked while’s Nuno Eapirito Santo continue to suffer his own share of defeats in the EPL.

Leeds United who needed this win to move further from the relegation zone did so against West Ham United to add to their misery. Nuno and his team came into this fixture with a point in four games while the host Leeds United had a record of four points in four games.

This was a test of might Nuno who needed to turn things around as soon as possible but Leeds United had none of that.

Leeds started it early and got their reward with just three (3) minutes into the game. Aaronson opened the scoring for Leeds United after latching on a saved header.

Minutes after the Leeds opener, Jarod Bowen almost delivered a spectacular but his overhead kick effort was stopped by Lucas Perri who was attentive of his strike.

The teams were poised and running at each other but Leeds United had the better of the Hammers after Sean Lingstaff’s cross in the 15’ was headed home for their second by Joe Rodon.

Nuno looked depressed on the touch lines and needed to change a couple of things, his players looked hungry but the hosts weren’t easy walkovers.

The first half ended with Leeds United holding on to their two goals advantage while Nuno had a lot to discuss in the tunnel before the second half resumed.

The Hammers could only manage a consolation in the 90’ when Mateus Fernandes gave a little flick to a Jarod Bowen cross. The Hammers were defeated yet again as their winless streak continues.
