Everton have stopped Crystal Palace in their English Premier League fixture after a late winner by Jack Grealish.
Crystal Palace have been incredibly good in their last couple of games with an unbeaten streak after 18 games. Palace beat Liverpool Fc and some big names in the league but got stopped in their tracks.
The visitors did not hold back going into the game and found the opener in the 37’ and Muñoz slotted one in. The entire Hill Dickinson Stadium was buzzing with cheers for Crystal Palace as they went into the break with their lone goal lead.
Everton had to respond to their goal deficit and they had a perfect opportunity after VAR awarded Everton a penalty in the 75th minute.
Lliman Ndiaye took the ball and drew parity for Everton in the 76’.
Oliver Glasner at this point would have loved to maintain the scoreline to protect his unbeaten streak but David Moyes who had been booked wanted more.
Late winners in this season’s EPL has been significant and either sides would have fancied one but it took a misjudged kick to gift Everton the lead when seconds on the clock to go.
With the seconds on the clock fact ticking, Tarkowski sent in a cross but was partially dealt with, as Dean Henderson’s save fell to Daniel Muñoz whose clearance deflected on Jack Grealish’s block into the net.
Everton had come back from a goal deficit to win by 2-1. Crystal Palace goes into the international break with a loss while Everton cruise closer the top half with Manchester City yet to play.
