Bodoe/Glimt almost caused one of the biggest upsets in the UEFA champions league fixtures after hosting Tottenham Hotspur’s at the Aspmyra Stadium.

Bodoe/Glimt came into the tie with the same record of two wins and two draws with Spurs. This was a tie many would consider an easy win for Spurs but it took a miracle for Spurs to salvage a point.

With Bodoe/Glimt fans watching and supporting the home team to bring them honours, many others were watching live action right from the windows of their apartments.

The home team sure shared play equally with Spurs and gifted them what would have ended the game in a big upset.

The start of the game was intense with lots of early chances created but nothing concrete was achieved. Spurs male a couple of runs that could have earned them the lead but Nikita Haikin was up to the task.

The first ended blank with both teams having lots to work on. The return to action was more one sided with. Bodoe/Glimt pushing for an opener. Their efforts started to pay off not long after the second half.

Hauge shot Bodoe/Glimt into the lead in the 53’ and just when Tottenham Hotspur’s were regrouping to launch an attack of their own, Hauge added his second in the 66’.

At this point, Tottenham Hotspur’s had one job and that was go all out. Two minutes after Hauge’s brace Van de Ven pulled one back for Spurs. Fans of the home team sure hoped the scoreline would end same but Van de Ven’s goal wasn’t a consolation.

Gundersen with a minute on the clock to end proceedings found himself in a position where trying to defend a low ball into the feet of Richarlison got directed into his own net.

Bodoe/Glimt still pushed for a winner in the added time but Blomberg’s shot went wide to end the game 2-2. Spurs have been lucky these could of days but the question still remains, until how long?
