The FIFA Balon D’or is the most prestigious individual football award that has distinguished the best from the rest over the decades. A trophy that has brought lots of controversy yet remain the more sorted after.

The 2025 Balon D’or was a keen award contested by many players with many rooting for Lamine Yamal with the annotation that he is just 17-years-old and has achieved a lot already. Ousmane Dembélé on the other hand made a lot of progress after failing to be nominated for the past five (5) years.

After the long wait, Raphinha, Yamal and Haaland all had to congratulate the French man who was crowned the best.
