The American Express Community Stadium hosted Tottenham Hotspur’s who are trying to build a streak in all competitions.
The game started with the rain making it difficult for some of the players although it wasn’t too wet or slippery.
Tottenham Hotspur’s kicked off to start play and under the first minute Lewis Dunk was called to defensive duties when he had to intercept a cross aimed towards the box.
Although the early pressure was directed toward Brighton, the hosts switched things around pretty quick with an early goal.
Yankuba Minteh have Brighton Hove Albion the lead in the 8’ before Yasin Ayari added a second in the 31’.
Tottenham looked finished with Brighton’s two goal lead before Mohammed Salah set Richarlison up in the 43’ to reduce the tally to 2-1.
It was a now or never game for both sides from the beginning of the second half. Tottenham created majority of chances and help the ball trying to find spaces between the Brighton lines.
While Tottenham struggled to open the Brighton defence, Jan Paul Van Hecke’s deflection gave the visitors a needed equaliser in the 83’ and that was enough to secure Tottenham a point at the Amex Stadium
