With two games to play in the African World Cup qualifiers, many groups are open to a possible upset.

Burkina Faso hosted Egypt in their match day eight (8) whether the Pharaohs looked more confident but the home teams plan worked to perfection.

Burkina Faso came into the game with 14 points after seven (7) games while’s Egypt had 19 points after same games. The five (5) points difference makes the group very open as a win for Burkina Faso would mean extra work for Egypt if they want to be present at the World Cup final.

Egypt known to be one of the powerhouses in Africa could not break the defence of Burkina Faso as the game ended in a draw.

All teams in Group A have now played eight matches with two more to climax who represents that group at the World Cup.

Egypt has a five (5) points difference with two games to go and that can change the entire setting in the group.

Burkina Faso, currently second on the table would hope Egypt will slip up while they win their last two but only time can tell.

African World Cup qualifiers continue in October and that is where the fate of who is and not representing will be decided.
