Some Celtic fans are not happy about the late addition made to their team but the facts are clear to understand.

The fact that Celtic needed a striker and their manager knowing the kind of player he wants to work with is key to their success.

Kelechi Iheanacho’s who became a free agent after parting ways with Sevilla became the first choice signing for Celtic and it’s no news because his former manager at Leicester City is the coach.

Brendan Rodgers has worked with the Nigerian international and certainly knows his capabilities and how he can tune him to help his current club.

Some fans of Celtic think otherwise;
“Celtic signing Kelechi Iheanacho reeks of desperation, and we have really stooped lower than I ever thought we could in this window.

This is NOT Iheanacho’s fault, and my anger and disappointment aren’t aimed at him; let’s make that absolutely crystal clear.

We will, of course, support him when he pulls on the jersey, but just because the board finally signed a striker who, by the way, has a rotten record, it doesn’t give them a free pass.

They have professionally messed up.”

It’s only a matter of time before their view about the player remains same as a finished product or another McTominay in the making.
