Many people have been getting the trajectories wrong from the very start.

The EPL game between Chelsea Fc and Fulham has remained the talk of sports with the controversial decision surrounding Joshua King’s goal in the 21’.

A call to disallow the goal after English referee Robert Jones consulted VAR and even took minutes to watch the incident before ruling out the goal is what has kept the flame ablaze.

Chelsea Fc sure won by 2-0 and Manu have argued that if the goal had stood it wouldn’t change a thing but that is where they get it wrong.

After a team scores, three things happen on the field
i) their defending style changes
ii) they probably play the same
iii) they make tactical changes to hold play

Howard Webb, the PGMOL chief refereeing officer has spoken and it’s not to support the act but condemn some of these decisions.

“It wasn’t controversial, it was wrong. In this situation the guidance wasn’t followed properly. There was a misjudgment by the officials involved in this situation about how that contact happened between Muniz and Chalobah.

We understand the importance of these decisions and it we get it wrong like we did on this occasion the impact is significant.

And we’re always striving to do better.”
There has been series of wrong calls by VAR not just in the EPL but football around the world which has become very obvious in recent times.

Do you think VAR is solving the problem it was proposed for or being manipulated for selective use?
