Nuno Espírito Santo and his team were doing everything right until West Ham United remembered there were the hammers and could actually run rampage in the forest after.

Many teams have been defeated because they are unable to turn their possession play to their advantage. The likes of Arsenal, Manchester City have been victims of this and now Nuno suffers same.

Holding majority of possession and not having any impact on goal is equally a waste of resources.

West Ham United who have been battered in their first two EPL games by Chelsea Fc (Lion) and Wolverhampton Wonderers (Wolves) only came to the realisation that they were playing Nottingham Forest (Forest) and for the first time their hammers can actually be put to work.

They only needed ten (10) minutes to level the forest and leave with a victory that is worth their effort.

Nottingham Forest came into this fixture as favourites following their opening win against Brentford and a draw to Crystal Palace but the repaired hammers weren’t ready for another defeat.

Jarrod Bowen started the crusade in the 84’ and just when Nuno and his men thought they could turn things around, Lucas Paquetá scored from the spot in the 88’ to give West Ham United a 2-0 lead.

Their double was enough to secure them all three points but West Ham United wanted to be sure their efforts don’t go wasted.

Callum Wilson who came on for Niclas Füllkrug added the cherry to the icing in the 90+1 to make it 3-0 and theee points for West Ham.
