The very day Josep Pep Guardiola touched down to manage Manchester City in the English Premier League, a lot of things changed not just for the club but the entire competition.
Coming from a dominating club in the Spanish league, Guardiola transformed Manchester City to another powerhouse winning more EPL titles than other teams and even climaxing it with a Champions League.
His style of play was so scary that many teams found it hard to penetrate until recent times. The code has finally been cracked and many teams are making use of it.
Last season wasn’t a season Pep would have wanted although he managed a top four spot but this season might be another hurdle to overcome.
