Jamal Musiala suffered one of the injuries in football that look scarier than any other. Andre Gomez former Everton player and Neymar Jnr. have both suffered similar injuries and their return to football was never the same as the stigma remained.

The CWC clash between German champions Bayern Munich and French champions Paris Saint-Germain was one of the games that drew lots of tension following the way these two teams played in their domestic leauges and even the CWC tournament.

Jamal Musiala, the Bayern Munich player ended up in a very bad situation after rushing for a 50-50 ball against Paris Saint-Germain goalkeeper Guianluigi Donnarumma which resulted in an injury that got everyone on the field emotional.

The agony on the face of Musiala, the emotions of the entire playing body on the pitch was changed. Musiala twisted his entire ankle in the challenge and many started to blame Donnarumma for not holding back while going into the challenge.

Its evident that the shot-stopper only went into the challenge to protect his goal but ended up colliding with Musiala who found himself in that awkward position.

Musiala has cleared the air in the hopes of taking some blame off Donnarumma but whether or not it will is another thing.

In a video recorded by the injured player he tried to make people understand it was a accident bound to happen in football and no one should be blammed.

“hello everyone, I wanted to say thank you for all the lovely support I got from all of you, it really means a lot to me. Its nice to see how the football world comes together at a time like this and really appreciate it. The surgery went really well, I’m in good care and I wanted to say this, there is no one to blame for this, I think situations like this happen. I’m going to use the next period of time to build my strength and positivity again, and I’m looking forward to seeing you guys again.”

This is a very matured statement and hopefully, the intention of this message is met.

With a successful surgery and the player holding on to this positive energy, Donnarumma can finally rest and clear his head before the final on Sunday.
