Former Chelsea, Paris Saint-Germain and current England coach after making headlines as the first England manager to win his first three games and also the first manager in same games to not concede a goal, has become the ridicule of many.
Thomas Tuchel is an amazing manager who won the Champions league with Chelsea and the Ligue 1 with Paris Saint-Germain but the news he is rewriting is something he sure wasn’t expecting.
Shortly after winning his third game with England, Tuchel lashed out at his players for giving one of the worst performances although the won. This reminded me of Jose Mourinho who made a judgmental statement saying, “I would rather keep 1% of possession and win the game than keep 99% of the ball and still lose.”
Well this is very true, possession is nice but the main aim is to be able to win. Short after his comment about his teams poor performance, I said on our YouTube channel that Tuchel should prepare for even worse and it didn’t take more than 48hrs to shock him.
England played in an international friendly against Senegal and this is where the England gaffer would realise he only have names and not a team who can compete for anything.
With all the players at his disposal, England lost to Senegal by 3-1. Kane opened the score after which Senegal tool over.
Thomas Tuchel’s streak had been broken, his record has been shattered and a new one has been made. He is the first England manager to be defeated by an African team and that will go down as his greatest loss.
Jude Bellingham scored in the game but his goal was disallowed by VAR after which he exhibited some form of anger. His manager has come to his rescue with a statement.
“I see this with my parents, with my mum, that she cannot see the nice, well-educated and well-behaved guy that I see. If he smiles, he wins everyone over, but sometimes you see the hunger and the rage and the fire. It can come out in a way that can be a bit repulsive for example, for my mother when she sits in front of the TV.
I see that, but in general, we are very happy to have him. He is a special boy.” said Tuchel.
This came after the gaffer was questioned about Bellingham’s outburst after his goal was disallowed and he started kicking things over at the touch line.
Thomas Tuchel has a lot of work to do with his star studded team and also a name to build for himself as it doesn’t look like England have time for rebuilding that results.
