The ‘Branding Grandmasters’ Legon Cities have suffered another humiliating defeat in the hands of Dreams Fc in their last game of the Ghana premier league.

Legon Cities stormed the league with lots of expectations and started to sign big names with branding techniques that got many people in awe. Signing the like of former Ghana national team captain Asamoah Gyan and other big names.

In recent times, the owner of Legon Cities has hinted his interest in selling the club as his dream for the club seems far fetched.

Legon Cities came into their last game of the Ghana premier league against Dreams Fc and many had already predicted the outcome as they had lost their last four games coming into the final match.

‘He that is down, does fear no fall’ they say but Legon Cities played with not just fear but humility. Already relegated from the Ghana premier league, many thought the Accra based club will go all out against Dreams Fc at least to give their fans one last victory to celebrate before going to the lower division but that was not the case.

Losing is part of football but creating a losing streak is on another level, Legon Cities have lost a total seven games including their lose against Dreams Fc and fans understand why the owners decision to sell might be the right answer.

Dreams Fc started early knowing Legon Cites were no match for them, and opened the score in the first six (6) minutes through Jonathan Nemorden, Jonathan struck again in the eighteenth (18) minute while Legon Cities were confused and scattered all over the field.

They returned from the break with similar style as Seidu Sujar made it three (3) for Dreams Fc, Jonathan was in his stride, he saw the opportunity to increase his tally and he took it expertly. In the 71st minute, Nemorden scored his hat-trick while Dennis Adoma managed a consolation in the 85th minute.

Accra Lions, Legon Cities and Nsoatreman have been relegated from top flight football.
