Krobea Kumasi Asante Kotoko suffer another blow in their last Ghana premier league clash against Vision Fc and that has cost them a place in the top four of the league log.

Kumasi Asante Kotoko after sacking coach Dr. Ogum have been preforming well under Karim Zito their current manager but things didn’t go as planned as Vision Fc ensured their hopes of staying in the top four did not materialise.

Vision Fc already knew their fate in the Ghana Premier league and didn’t need a win, at the same time they were coming into the game with three wins and a loss.

Karim Zito who has been performing some magic with the team started the game on the offence and it paid off in the early minute of the game with signs of scoring.

Emmanuel Antwi in the 37′ minute gave Kumasi Asante Kotoko the lead but the same complacency that keeps setting in the team cost them. The Porcupine warriors went into the half with their lone goal lead but the trajectory of the game switched swiftly to the favour of the hosts. Their vision was now clear and they finally knew how to break the porcupine.

Edmond Asante, five (5) minutes into the second half equalised for Vision Fc and that set the tempo for more disaster. Kumasi Asante Kotoko have suffered many defeats resulting from defensive errors in the late minutes of their games and this was no different.

Vision Fc started to pile pressure on the visitors, they had spotted their weakness and started to press their neck, Frank Duku found the soft spot and made it 2-1 for Vision Fc in the 82′ minute before added his second and a third for Vision Fc in the 90+3′ minute.

It was just a whistle away for the hosts to claim the much needed maximum points from Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko currently place 4th and 5th on the league log after their respective games.
