The 24 teams have discovered their group-stage opponents at the FIFA U-20 World Cup Chile 2025.
- Tournament to be held in Chile from 27 September to 19 October
- The matches will be played in Rancagua, Santiago, Talca and Valparaiso
- Tickets go on sale 30 May
The draw for the 24th FIFA U-20 World Cup™ has taken place in Santiago, Chile, with a host of fascinating encounters promised. Each of the 24 teams now know their group-stage opponents, with the final set to take place on 19 October in the nation’s capital.
Hosts Chile have been joined in Group A by Egypt, Japan and New Zealand, while six-time champions Argentina have been placed in Group D with Australia, Cuba and Italy.
Group A: Chile, Egypt, Japan, New Zealand Group B: Korea Republic, Panama, Paraguay, Ukraine Group C: Brazil, Mexico, Morocco, Spain Group D: Argentina, Australia, Cuba, Italy Group E: France, New Caledonia, South Africa, USA Group F: Colombia, Nigeria, Norway, Saudi Arabia
The top two teams from each of the six groups will advance to the Round of 16, as well as the four best third-placed teams.
