Football has blessed the world with many wonderful and skilled players in the likes of Pele, Maradona, Ronaldo Nazarrio, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Messi, Del Piero amongst other but the career and life of the young prospects who felt short of their glory due to different circumstances is what is worrying.
Once up a time, there was Ansu Fati, born on the 31st October 2002 who stormed the footballing world with spirit and wonder. Ansu Fati signed his first professional contract with FC Barcelona on July 24, 2019. He was promoted to the first team on September 23, 2020. On September 1, 2023, he joined Brighton & Hove Albion on a loan deal after which he returned to FC Barcelona on July 1, 2024.

He was the next to replace Messi many adjudged until injury struck, this was not expected but football is always full of surprises. The team that once hailed the young prodigy now turned against him. He was not getting any minutes and gradually he became irrelevant to the team. His injury records are below;
Ansu Fati’s return to football got stalled after his teammate Lamine Yamal stormed the pitch to wow fans and the team. He was sensational and his movement was incredible. He gradually became the preferred choice while Ansu had to warm the bench in many games.
The former promised prodigy who took the iconic number 10 jersey after Lionel Messi was now just wearing the shirt to make himself happy as his activities on the field were limited.
Yamal has now been given the number ten jersey that Ansu Fati wears although he hasn’t left the club. This might mean a lot to the player and fans who have quickly forgotten how he made a name for himself and Fc Barcelona in his days of active football.

Ansu did not only lose his position in the Fc Barcelona lineup but has lost his shirt to his teammate and there is only one suggestible answer to this, the club have no use for his services.
Ansu Fati prepared to come on as a sub in a game against Athletic Bilbao, after changing his shirt and warming up only to be ignored, the disappointment on his face explained it all. His dreams of becoming the next Messi was crushing before his own eyes. The team that once backed him to glory had quickly forgotten his existence, it is now time to reset and look on.
Do you thing Ansu Fati will stay at Barcelona or look for offers elsewhere?
