Ghana continues to make its mark on the international photography scene thanks to the remarkable talent of Nii Otoe Bruce-Tagoe, the CEO of Twenty-Nine Photo Studio (29PhotoStudio). For the second consecutive year, he has earned a spot in the Top 10 of the AIPS Sports Media Awards Continental Rankings, cementing his legacy in African sports photography.

ruce-Tagoe’s career began in the world of boxing, where he used photography to transform the sport’s public perception through branding and storytelling. His portfolio now spans a wide range of disciplines including football, volleyball, basketball, taekwondo, and tennis—his second core area of focus.

His dedication, despite limited equipment and resources, continues to shine. In 2023, he topped the continental rankings as No.1 in Action Sports Photography. In 2024, he placed 10th, maintaining his presence as the only Ghanaian photographer to make the top 10.

His artistry is an art that many have wondered and his final delivery exhibits an entire story in a picture.

Mr. Bruce-Tagoe in the 2023 AIPS Sports Media Award won the No.1 for the Continental Action Sport category and received little accolades from his media frenzies but that did not discourage him. Constantly seen around every sports action, Mr. Bruce-Tagoe even with the limited equipments has managed to give onlookers mouth watering images and continues to perfect his art.

The 2024 AIPS Sports Media Awards was another chance for him to prove himself and although he slipped from his previous position, he was still in the top 10 media personalities who got the nord.

The SWAG member and C.E.O of 29PhotoStudio/Tv placed 10th in the Continental ranking and promised his will comeback stronger to compete for the global award.
