Football and football lovers will surely miss the services of Belgian super offensive midfielder Kevin De Bruyne who recently on his social media handle announced hanging his boots as a Manchester City player after staying with the club for ten (10) years.
Kevin De Bruyne started his senior career with Genk in the Belgian league where he signed for four (4) years before moving to Chelsea in England. KDB was a player to watch but his time at Chlesea was not one many fans of the club would want to share.
His rift started with then club manager Jose Mourinho who made life unbearable for him until he left the club on loan to join Werder Bremen. His loan spell was for a season after which he joined VfL Wolfsburg for the 2014-2015 season.
Kevin De Bruyne started to find his spirit, his playing changed and started making waves over all the sports news platforms. Many though his career was dead but KDB was just charging his battery and he proved it when he joined Manchester City in 2015.
Pep Guardiola was on a mission to win the UEFA champions league and the English Premier league cup for the club, they were a dominant force in the league and needed to cement it with trophies and that was where KDB came in.
Kevin De Bruyne’s footballing career has been a rollercoaster which turned his life around.
