Canelo Saul Alvarez has been one of the boxers known to want to stand and exchange punches and his entire career has been build around his ferociousness and power.

Canelo and Scull fought for the Undisputed Super Middleweights Title and the world culd not believe what these two most talked about fighters had to offer.

In their post fight presser, Scull promised he was going to finish off Canelo and make the world realise he was nothing in the boxing scene irrespective of his achievement but Canelo who was calm and collected expressed the only thing that was going to happen on the night was him ensuring Scull eats only his fist.

The anticipation for a blockbuster was so high with boxing lovers looking forward to yet another explosive fight between these two fighter who have been giving it all in the ring.

The fight night which had some amazing names should have gotten fans excited but it was the opposite.

Devin Haney, Rolly Romero, Ramirez, Ryan Garcia, William Scull were all on the bill so the best was expected.

Canelo although picking the win against Scull has been bashed by many spectator and boxing lover after a two-star rated performance.

It was another boring fight after Haney and Garcia. The running around in the ring was like childs’ play. There was little to no action as Scull and Canelo exchanged the least punches in the ring. Scull who claimed he was fighting according to his plan believed he was winning and needed to keep the same composure. The fight was decided by the score cards and Canelo Saul Alvarez won by unanimous decision.

Some boxers and world champions at the ring side were not impressed and took to social media to express their frustration.

Jake Paul, “Embarrassing”

Claressa Gwoat Shields, “I’m tired of fighters being on the bike and I’m tired of the other fighters not knowing hot to cut the ring.”

Amanda Serrano, “Man the last two days weren’t good boxing days.”

Edgar Berlanga Jr., “Omg this f*cking fight is boring! I need that rematch #CaneloBerlanga2.”

Bill Haney the father of Devin Haney after comments that his son was running throughout his fight against Ramirez used Canelo’s fight to console himself. He also posted,

“This playing field ain’t level!! Devin Haney landed 70 punches vs Jose Ramirez and was criticised for being boring. Canelo Alvarez landed 56 vs. William Scull, the lowest combined punches total in CompuBox history being described as strategic and calculated. WTF.”

Canelo whose mission had being accomplished cared less what people were saying while he got his gold wrapped around him. In the course of talking to journos, Turki Alalshikh seized on the opportunity to officially announce the Canelo Alvarez vs Terrence Crawford fight.
