The UEFA Champions league semi-final has given fans a fell of what to expect going forward. Arsenal after beating Real Madrid in their two leg tie faced Paris Saint-Germain who handed them a lone goal win at the Emirates.

Barcelona on the other hand hosted Internationale Milan at the Camp Nou and what set to be a disaster turned to be one of the best football fans did not expect.

Hansi Flick coming from a trophy win against Real Madrid in the Copa Del Rey was so confident his side was going to get the business done in the early minutes of the game but Simone Inzaghi took the game rather serious and tried to end things in the first half.

Internationale Milan came into the game with little to no intimidation as many teams who face Barca showcase and in the first 20minutes, they were in charge of the game.

Marcus Thuram via an assist from Denzel Dumfries opened the score for Inter Milan in the first minute after which the assister Dumfries added the second in the 21st minute.

The stadium was roaring, it looked like things would get harder for Barca but their class and pedigree came to play.

Lamie Yamal who had been quiet in the opening minutes of the game probably recovering from the shock of the two early goals took matters into his own hands and from a solo effort, pulled one back for Barcelona in the 24th minute.

It was all pressure from the home team now. They started pushing and ensuring Inter Milan made more mistake. They gave many balls aways in dangerous areas and Barca failed to punish them. The pressure continued, and a poor clearance saw Inter gifting possession to Raphinha whose short pass to Ferran Torres was guided past Yann Sommer for the equaliser.

It was game on now as both teams started to go all out for the win. Barca had the upper hand as Lamie was too much for Federico Dimarco to handle. He ensured Dimarco had run out of power to continue chasing him around until he got substituted.

Denzel Dumfries was having a good day, his first goal from a header to give Inter a 2-0 lead had been cancelled and in the midst of the heat and from a cross initiated by Hakan Çalhanoğlu, Dumfries connected yet again to give Inter a 3-2 lead at the Camp Nou.

This was a game of will and the will of both teams were tested to it limits. Internationale Milan was leading by 3-2 away to Barcelona and Hansi Flick was not looking happy on thr touchline. His players quickly understood the assignment and started working towards it.

The counter pressing of Barcelona paid off after winning a corner kick. Dani Olmo who wasn’t sure if his players were ready to win any aerial duels send a long pass to Raphinha whose rocket shot deflected into the net to give Barca the third equaliser. Yann Sommer was caught in the rocket shot and got his name on the score sheet for an own goal.

After 90+3 minutes of play, centre refree Clement Turpin from France blew the whistle to bring the entire proceedings to an end.

Internationale Milan now go into the second leg tie after giving Barcelona yet another tough game of the UEFA Champions league.
