Musah Lawson, a Ghanaian professional boxer who has been avoided by many Ghanaian boxers for reasons undisclosed after series of talks and rants from other boxers who have claimed kingship in the various boxing divisions.

Boxers who have claimed they were the best in Ghana including Derrick Quaye and Obodai Sai whose career is on the brink of ending have all chickened out of fights with Lawson at the latter minutes of the fight.

The Commonwealth Games 2018 Gold Coast representative, Musah Lawson after calling out Joel Camilleri disclosed in an exclusive interview with our reporter and discussed the following as we also bring this to our cherished readers and followers.

“It has been very frustrating realising how many boxers call me out and just when i accept the challenge they chicken out. I am that boxer who gives the mediocre boxers nightmares even in the day.

Imagine someone calling themselves the best yet afraid to fight me. I have been boxing since I accepted to take boxing as my other career and I do not regret it. I am a Prisons Officer in Ghana and they support me in my boxing career and that has been the boost in my motivation.

Derrick Quaye is just a loud mouth and Obodai Sai just disappointed me because it was one fight I was really looking forward to. I wanted to fight him as a mentor and also to prove to the world that I wasn’t riding on old glory from the Commonwealth Games in 2018.

I have been in talks with Joel Camilleri (CamaKO) who is an Australian boxer and things look to be going very well. He is a good boxer in his books and I believe I am the best he is yet to face.

Talks have progress with his management and we are both confident that this fight will be one of the best for both of our careers.

CamaKO’s fans want to see him fight the best and my fans want to see my fight the best and this is the time to give them that fight.

It doesn’t matter where and when, for me its just about getting in the ring and showing him that boxing is not a sport of talks but action.

I have told him once that he fights handpicked pushovers and he wins from those fights, so this will be his test. I am in perfect condition and have been training for this day.

We have agreed on a date but would want to wait a bit to settle the other details as both teams are preparing a contract for the fight.”

Musah Lawson who promises to give his fans a fight of their lives patiently waits for the contract from the team of CamaKO.

We are following the growth of this event and will be giving you more exclusives from Joel ‘CamaKO’ Camilleri in due time.
