Nottingham Forest have surprised everyone in the premier league this season with the performance they have displayed and their level of determination and maturity in the English premier league.

The promotion of Nottingham Forest to the top flight league has not been one of those walk over teams but they are sailing in their own sea.

Today away to Tottenham Hotspur, Nottingham showcased another act of class as they started fast and completed their task even before the end of first half.

The visitors started their rampage early and showed no edge of slowing down as Elliot Anderson of Forest broke the deadlock five (5) minutes in the game, this was just the beginning of another struggle for Ange Postecoglou.

Nottingham Forest five minutes after Anderson’s goal another which was ruled out by VAR as an offside. Nothing seemed to be working for Tottenham and the visitors continued to exploit their weakness.

Chris Wood whose initial goal was ruled out by VAR in the 10th minute ensured he was onside and scored the second for Nottingham Forest in the 16th minute.

This was another history in the making should they hold on to their two goal lead. The second half of the game was a bit different as Tottenham tried to match up to the visitors but it was rather too late.

Brazilian forward Richarlison in the 87th minute drew one back for his side but it was only enough for a consolation as Nottingham Forest defended their lead and climbed back to third spot on the league log behind with six (6) points behind Arsenal.
