The Ghana boxing fraternity has long search for an enterprising young and energetic matchmaker and promoter who will bring the best boxers into the ring to showcase their craft.

Mubarak Yusif Nanor has been present in the Ghana boxing scene and traveled the world with one motive and that is to bring the best promoters and matchmakers to Ghana as he believes Ghana is still the home of boxing.

Mubarak Yusif Nanor has made a name for himself and has remained focused on achieving a greater goal that will benefit boxers in Ghana through management and promotions.

In recent time, the champion matchmaker has strived to give boxing lovers nothing but the best and went all out to bring Musah Lawson and Obodai Sai out only for the latter to draw out. Pumping money into these events and making sure the best is attained.

We chanced on the Champion Mubarak Yusif Nanor in an up-close interview where we asked about his future plans and the evergreen positive thinking matchmaker had this to say,

“I have been in this boxing business for a while now and its not easy but that is my passion. I love boxing and since I wasn’t able to become a boxer I have to make people enjoy the best of the sports.

I have travelled within and outside Ghana in search for partners who understand the fundamentals of the sports and not just someone who wants to invest and wants profit even before the event is over.

I have been out there working tirelessly trying to get something great for Ghana boxers and boing in general with regards to promoters, ambassadors, brands and others and i can assure you that in due course I will announce my progress.

I can tell you without fear or panic that I have been in talks with two promoters and our discussions have reached far. In as much as we are still discussing a thing or two.

I have one promoter from the United States of America and the other from Benin. The discussion goes beyond promotions but looking to extend it to signing some of the Ghana boxers and lead them to world title glory.”
