CAF organised tournaments just like the UEFA champions league, Europa Cup and Conference league are very competitive tournaments that requires the best performance at every stage to ensure you remain the best.

The CAF Champions league and Confederation Cup are tournaments that bring together winners of the various national teams to compete for continental glory.

The Ghana premier league and its current performance has got many wondering whether any team in the local league is competitive ready as the performances of these clubs have been blow standard.

The competition which continues to feature teams like Al Ahly, Al Hilal, TP Mazembe, Mamelodi Sundowns, Orlando Pirates and many others have not reduced their performance levels at any point in time.

The last time any Ghanaian teams participated in the competition and improved in their craft was Dreams Fc. This should have been worked on and improved to give fans the feel of continental glory after Accra Hearts of Oak but the trend has been the same.

Ghanaian teams that qualify for the competitions have been humiliated by other African team and the question has been asked whether any Ghanaian team deserves to be at the competitions.

The Ghana premier league which has been marred by many questions of officiating and poor performances ignited the ideas of clubs to think they are giving a 100% performance until they meet the worst teams in the continental competitions who proves them wrong.

Many Ghanaian teams have withdrawn from the competition although they qualified to represent Ghana and at this point, many have concluded that no team in Ghana is competitive enough to represent in the CAF competitions.
