President of the Ghana Football Association, Mr. Kurt Edwin Simon Okraku today received the newly elected Executives of the Ghana League Clubs Association (GHALCA) at his office for discussions and deliberations on the new roles and his commitment to support the various offices.

Sited on a social media post, this courtesy call served as both an official introduction of the new leadership to the Ghana Football Association (GFA) and an opportunity to engage in constructive dialogue in issues of mutual interest, particularly around the development and welfare of clubs across all divisions in the country.

“I warmly congratulate the Executives on your elections and express my full confidence in your abilities to lead GHALCA with vision and purpose. I also underscore the vital role that strong institutional partnerships play in driving sustainable progress throughout the football ecosystem.

Together with GHALCA, we are committed to fostering greater cooperation, unity of purpose, and a deepened collaboration that will advance the collective interests of Ghanaian football.

The Football Association looks forward to working closely with GHALCA to build a stronger foundation for our clubs and elevate the beautiful game in Ghana.” said the President, Mr. Okraku.

Ghana football which has been on the decline in recent times need these assurances to enhance fairness and growth in both club and national teams.

With the newly elected executives ready to take up their various roles in helping bridge the gab that has been created in the league systems, we believe the support of the mother association will play a very important role to reach a collective goal.
