The Continental Club Masters, Accra Hearts of Oak after suffering a staggering loan goal defeat to Nations Fc, gathered more than just momentum to take on tougher rivals Medeama SC in the Ghana premier league.

The game which many saw as a game for both teams proved to be a fixture worth watching as both sides produced a masterclass on the field with little to do by the centre man until closing minutes of the game.

Coach Ouattara who hasn’t been consistent with his side got the most important win against Medeama SC and in a spectacular way as the entire Phobia family came to play.

Raphael Amponsah who was having a wonderful day on the pitch climaxed it with a rocket finish to put the home side in front.

Medeama SC after pressing and trying to secure an equaliser did not materialise as the Phobians ensured their defence was rock solid.

Hearts of Oak ended the game securing all three points while Kumasi Asante Kotoko drew blood against Hearts of Lions.

Kotoko remains top of the league log with 46 points while Accra Hearts of Oak climb to the 3rd with 40 points.
