Clottey who has argued he can advice up and coming boxers because his records when he was in active sports speaks for itself. WBA International Light Middleweight Title (2014)

International Boxing Federation Welterweight Title (2008-09), IBF Intercontinental Welterweight Title (2006), WBC Continental Americas Light Middleweight Title (2005), NABC Welterweight Title (2004), African Welterweight Title (2001), Ghanaian Light Welterweight Title (1995).

In an audio which the former boxer asked to share to reach even the GBA, the former boxer states.

“Ghana fighter are loosing all their international fights and its because of a simple reason. Our boxers are not fighting in competitive fights but the fans. They fight push overs and win easy fights.

If they are just twenty fighters and they fight each other, it will help shape the others and they should not not everyone will become a world champion but helping fight the other undefeated boxer will help shape them for the world stage.

To the fans, allow your boxers to fight, fans entering the ring to cause chaos when they realise their fighter is losing needs to stop.

The GBA should also start going to the score card when fans enter the ring and spoil the fight. They should ensure the winner is mentions after any such thing happens to deter fans from doing that.

The fans should understand that in boxing your fighter can be losing the early round and in the later rounds things can turn for him. Just one knock and he can win the fight. If they love the sports and want to see their boxer going forward to make a better name. They should understand and make thing work as it should during the fight.”
